Pressure forming employs two molds, pressing the plastic sheet in between and then heating it to take on the shape. Twin sheet forming, on the other hand, involves fusing two plastic sheets together to create double-walled or hollow parts.
In the case of vacuum forming, a single mold is used at a time. The process relies on a vacuum, which applies suction to the heated plastic sheet, drawing it around the mold to achieve the desired contour.
